The emotional attachment that the author implies is quite large, in the fact that he is able to easily speak his mind in a very bias and strong forwarded way to explain his perspectives. The purpose of the article is to explain the instability that comes from the president and how it may be devastating to the American people, as well as other countries that have to deal with the “problems” that Donald Trump creates. For example in the article it states “By summer it was quite clear that: a) Trump was not going to grow up in office; and b) the best staffing in the world would not be able to make him even a mediocre president. Drezner is able to organize his argument by first explaining his views on how the president acts, and then going into further detail about his recent actions he presents. The argument he conveys is very consistent throughout the whole piece contributing to the viewpoint on how President Trump is not fit to be president regarding his recent behaviors.
