The Washington Post is an American made newspaper company. It is generally regarded as one of the leading daily American newspapers. Winning multiple awards such as 47 Pulitzer Prizes. It has punished many articles from the Spanish-American war to Remember the Maine. The Washington Post is widely known in Washington D.C. The newspaper has a particular emphasis on national politics all over America, but mainly circulating around District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. Although, it does not tend to dispute away from the east coast. The newspaper was founded on December 6, 1877 by Stilson Hutchins. It became one of the city's only newspaper to publish seven days a week and function 24 hours a day. The newspaper did not obtain only one owner throughout the years it was born, hoping all around starting with the owner to generals to congressmen, all the way to the present day owner Jeff Bezos.
