Fareed Rafiq Zakaria is an American journalist and author. Fareed Zakaria writes a foreign affairs column for The Post. He is also the host of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS and a contributing editor for The Atlantic. Prior to his current roles, Zakaria was editor of Newsweek International, managing editor of Foreign Affairs, a columnist for Time, and an analyst for ABC News. Zakaria is a naturalized American citizen. He currently resides in New York City with his wife and kids. Though, he explains his standpoint on the subject in regards to using strong uses of diction and and appeals to ethos, pathos, and logos to get his point across to the reader in a more precise way, so it can be understood more easily.
